Job Summary:
Surplus Group is in need of a Parts Specialist to work within our Warehouse Team.
This new position in responsible for correctly identifying HVAC components, labeling and organizing of parts inventory
Maintaining accurate logs in the company’s database and shipping – receiving logs are equally important.
Responsibilities
Responsible for parts coming in and going out of the warehouse Identifying new inventory (i.e. pumps, fans, motors, contactors, circuit breakers, control boxes) Entering new inventory into our database with complete and accurate information Working both independently as well as part of a larger team Maintain the Parts Department Skills and Qualifications Required
Mechanical aptitude is a must and experience working in the HVAC field (or equivalent) is expected
Well organized and high attention to detail
Ability to see a project straight through from beginning to end
Computer literate (Microsoft Office, CRM, basic databases/data entry)
Experience with website management is an asset but not required
Forklift experience an asset
This full-time position is Monday to Friday, 7:30 am to 4:00 pm.
